Here's the link to my current website. This will be my promotional piece which I will be working on. I will also want to create more reels on instagram and make my personal branding clear on each platform I develop. 

Heres a few screenshots of a few pages of website at the moment. It will change completely in the future to fit my current branding. Over the summer I developed a new style and would like to see this developed on my website. 

I wanted to use a photograph of myself for the bio section to make it feel more personal as you're reading about what I do! The colour scheme of the website at the moment is blue however, I want to change this to a light yellow shade, this is due to me wanting my branding to be easily recognisable on each page. 

Still on the home page you will see my instagram posts. This is because I am most regular on this platform and on each caption of the posts you will see my individual personal shine. I also wanted to have this as my main page as it shows illustrations that I do quickly. 
As you go down to the bottom on the first page, this is the link to the portfolio. Although this is okay to use as a cover photo, I think I definitely need to improve this. Going forward with this website I need to add my personality to each page, this is because the website feels very corporate rather than a look into my life. 

My portfolio on the website has a selection of my artwork and illustrations. I have a section for Uni work, commissioned pieces and digital sketchbook pieces.

Here's a few screenshots of the sections of the Portfolio. It showcases each area of my ability. On each section I have a paragraph explaining what kind of techniques I use and why I like to do them.

Reflecting on my Career Opportunities

 When beginning my research into different career opportunities, I knew that writing and illustrating a children’s book was something I wanted to do in the future. It was an online course that spanned over 12 months but normally would take students up to 4 months. Networking and Social Media: Linked in

To Start creating connections in the business I decided I needed a linked in account. This can be used as my own personal CV. And if I keep liking and sharing posts, my activity will increase and I will be seen as hireable.  Update I have been interacting with posts on Linked in and I already have 16 new connections and will continue to do so throughout my career. I have also made a few private messages to others in the same industries that I would see myself going in to. Linked in is a valuable website for me to carry on doing this to connect with potential clients.
