New Website Design

Here are a couple of screenshots and a screen-recording of the main page on my website. I have completely revamped and updated the theme of the website. Previously it was just a place where I put my artwork on and I tried to make it look professional. It looked too corporate so I decided to change it all up and use a white background so that all of my working is exciting and pops out. I also included a more personal bio in my professional statement that includes my personal preferences with my artwork and also my goals for the future.

To continue to develop this further, when I start creating art pieces that I want to sell again, I will include a shop section on the website.

Previous Instagram Page

This is my previous profile picture and bio for instagram. The bio still calls myself an illustration student, this doesn't sound professional or interesting. Although for instagram you aren't meant to put a lot in the bio it should still explain that I am freelanced and a professional illustrator.

New Instagram Page

Here's my updated instagram, with my new branding and logo. I decided to keep my bio short and sweet and have the link to my website below. This is so that if they want to find out more information about me and the artwork I produce they can look on there.

Previous Etsy Profile

This is my previous Etsy profile. As you can see I didn't have a banner and the branding is still my old version.

New Etsy Profile

Here's my new Etsy profile! It looks fun and exciting and it matches my personal branding throughout my social media. I don't have a shop description yet, this is because I will be revamping my shop with new cards and artworks. In the new year I will hopeful start it back up and sell a range of products- when I do this is when I add a description to my shop.

Previous Facebook Profile

Although, I don't have a screenshot of what my facebook profile looked like previously. I have screen-shotted what my facebook cover photo looked like before I changed it. I had no clue what I should change my banner to so I just used a photo products I was selling on Etsy at the time. This is terrible branding and I knew I wanted to change it as soon as I had the chance. My previous profile picture was the ones I have used for my instagram and Etsy page in early 2021.

New Facebook Profile

Here's my new facebook profile. It looks more professional and vibrant. I changed my name from IllustrationByAmyElizabeth to Amy Elizabeth Illustration. This is because I wanted my branding throughout my social media to be cohesive so that customers and my followers aren't confused.

Youtube Account

Although I won't upload regularly, I will upload time-lapses and animations that I create on to this platform. This is so that when clients are looking through my website, they will see videos of me creating art in my studio and the animations I produce. This will keep my website exciting and interesting to look at.
